Uruguay's second home non-capped international against Fiji took place on Sunday and the visitors made the South Americans pay for their mistakes as they completed a comprehensive victory. Played at the home of Uruguayan rugby, Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo the Fiji Warriors went out to a 34-3 lead at one point before Uruguay fought back to be fifteen points behind in the fourth quarter. The final score of 42-22 gives both teams a strong idea of what will be required of them when they meet again in October in a pool match in the World Cup. Uruguay is to regroup ahead of the upcoming World Rugby Tbilisi Cup taking place this month in Georgia.
