The Argentina XV made the ideal start to the URU Cup in Montevideo by recording an emphatic 64-0 victory over Chile on Sunday. In scoring ten tries without conceeding a point the unofficial third string Argentine selection underlined the level of depth in the country at present. Involved were former Pumitas including smoe left out of the Pampas XV that have previously been close to higher honors. Brian Ormson and Juan Ignacio Brex were particularly impressive. The Argentine XV will play again on Wednesday, taking on the Teros XV under 20 side. Uruguay is hosting the tournament in an effort to prepare strongly for Rugby World Cup 2015.
