With a new captain the Pampas XV lineup to face Canada 'A on Wednesday has been confirmed. Fly half Santiago González Iglesias is to lead the team and do so by playing outside not Tomás Cubelli or Martín Landajo but, instead, Felipe Ezcurra. The return of González Iglesias to the team marks one of ten changes to the team that faced and defeated Tonga 'A' on Friday. Only Matías Alemanno, Facundo Isa, Jerónimo De la Fuente, Emiliano Boffelli and Santiago Cordero have been retained in the starting lineup to face Canada 'A'. The Argentine side remains undefeated while Canada 'A' is one from two having suffered a late narrow defeat against Samoa 'A' in round two.

Completing forty appearances for the Pampas XV Santiago González Iglesias will lead the Pampas XV in the team's third round Pacific Challenge match against Canada 'A' in Suva, Fiji on Wednesday. The Alumni fly half will form a halves combination with Felipe Escurra who replaces Martín Landajo for the fixture. he changes sees a third player starting at scrumhalf in as many matches.

Jerónimo De la Fuente has been retained as the starting inside centre but has a new mid-field partner with Matías Moroni returning. This change sees Emiliano Boffelli moving from outside centre to the left wing and has also resulted in Santiago Cordero moving from the left wing to fullback. Completing the starting back division is Manuel Montero who will play in the unfamiliar position of right wing.

Facundo Isa returns to start at the back of the scrum and will form a back-row combination with Javier Ortega Desio and Pablo Matera. All three are competing for places in Daniel Hourcade's Rugby World Cup 2015 squad. In 2014 Hourcade utilized all to start test matches and with the Pampas XV having other squad members pushing for places those based in Europe are far from being assured of a World Cup birth.

Starting in the second-row will be Guido Petti Pagadizabal and Matías Alemanno both of whom also started tests in this position under Hourcade in 2014. They did so when others were missing to injury but places nonetheless remain wide open as Hourcade is looking at eight players of which four will likely make the squad.

Completing the starting lineup is the front-row of Lucas Noguera Paz, Santiago Iglesias Valdez and Bruno Postiglioni. The trio are all players to have been given opportunities under Hourcade though Postiglioni has been used as a loosehead. He replaces Santiago García Botta who played in France as a medical joker recently.

The match is scheduled to begin on Wednesday at midnight Argentine time.
