The leading fly half in France this season has been twenty-seven year old François Trinh-Duc. Capped forty-nine times by France Trinh-Duc was controversially left out of the French test squad last season despite having been playing better rugby than those players selected ahead of him. His chance to underline this was to come in November but, instead, he faces a four month recovery after having fractured his tibia playing for Montpellier at home against Oyonnax on Saturday. The hard-hitting tackle was made by former Puma Benjamín Urdapilleta in the 24th minute. Urdapilleta has been pressing hard for international selection and holds down a starting position at Oyonnax.
