Uncapped twenty-three year old Argentine front-rower Emiliano Coria Marchetti has signed a short-term contract which will see him playing in France for Montpellier. The move sees the former PladAR player continuing his professional career which has previously involved him playing for Cavalieri Prato in Italy. Coria had been a regular for the Pampas XV under the coaching of current Pumas headcoach Daniel Hourcade.
Montpellier is a well positioned club after four rounds of the French Top 14. It is in first place after having defeated Racing Métro, Grenoble, Clermont and Castres. The impressive set of results may continue on Sunday with Montpellier facing the mid-table Bordeaux-Begles in an away fixture.
In search of remaining competitive the club has signed Argentine prop Emiliano Coria Marchetti as a medical joker until January. It is to see him acting as an injury replacement for former French international David Attoub. Also missing through injury is Puma Maximilano Bustos. Coria should be free to play for the club starting in round six.
