Los Pumas headcoach Daniel Hourcade has named a twenty-nine man squad for Saturday's Rugby Championship warm-up fixture to be played in Catamarca. The squad contains one less player than that from the first match which took place last Friday at CASI club in Greater Buenos Aires. Missing is Juan Martín Hernández who will not play in the match due to having picked up a minor leg injury. He is, nonetheless, expected to be fully fit to fly with the squad to South Africa next week and start for his county at inside centre in the Rugby Championship.

Joining Hernández in missing the match are three other players - loosehead prop Lucas Noguera Paz, back-rower Javier Ortega Desio and fullback Santiago Cordero. All three, like Hernández, featured in last Friday's match at CASI but none of them are to fly with the squad to Catamarca. Instead they have been replaced by Marcos Ayerza, Tomás De la Vega and Matías Orlando.

As pictured to the top right is the team photo taken from earlier today. It consists of players in the Rugby Championship squad set to be announced following the match in Catamarca just days before the South Americans fly across the Atlantic Ocean. As such the twenty-three players for the opening  two fixtures in the Rugby Championship, both against South Africa, will be from players facing Grenoble.
