Photo Sports Net
Japan's stated aim of reaching the Top 10 in the world as the host nation of Rugby World Cup 2019 completed a memorable come from behind victory to defeat Canada in Burnaby, British Columbia on Saturday. A crowd of 6,328 was treated to the match of the weekend as the rivalry that has seen the two Tier 2 countries draw in the previous two editions of the Rugby World Cup produced a highly competitive match in which the Asian side overturned a 25-9 deficit to win the match 34-25. Japan will face the USA next Saturday in California while Canada will host Scotland in Toronto.
