In March the Federación Colombiana de Rugby (FCR) reported that growth in playing numbers has seen the country now have more than 11,500 players. The 2013 competition was won by Paraguay who subsequently joined CONSUR A and finished second behind Uruguay after defeating Brazil ad narrowly losing against Chile.
