Canadian enforcer Jamie Cudmore lived up to the billing last Friday. The veteran of three Rugby World Cups tackled South African Rory Kockott in the sixth second of the barrage play-off between Clermont and Castres on Friday. The tackle is the subject of discussion as to whether it was legal or not. The referee did not pelanize Cudmore and allowed play to continue. Kockott will become eligible to represent France in July. He is likely to be starting against Argentina in November and, on form, could very well be France's scrumhalf at Rugby World Cup 2015.
