Argentine winger Martín Bustos Moyano remains out of the senior Pumas squad. Capped just four times the Córdoba goal-kicking back has been unable to establish himself in the test team. Others such as Horacio Agulla, Lucas González Amorosino, Gonzalo Camacho, Juan Imhoff, Joaquín Tuculet and the young Santiago Cordero have been preferred. Bustos Moyano, nonetheless, has been a strong performer in France for both Montpellier and Bayonne. On Saturday he single-handedly kicked Bayonne out of the relegation zone by scoring twenty-four points in San Sebastien, Spain.

Bustos Moyano is the eighth top points scored in the Top 14 so far this season. He has scored 196 points, three less than last seasons player of the year winner, Rory Kockott. Also ahead of Bustos Moyano is another Argentine player unable to receive test time in the senior squad, Benjamín Urdapilleta. Both players are in contention for a place in Daniel Hourcade´s squad to face Ireland and Scotland in June. European based players selected for the Rugby Championship will not be considered.

Bayonne is now outside of the relegation zone but remains in danger of joining fellow Basque club Biarritz in being relegated. With two rounds remainin Bayonne is on 48 points together with Oyonnax. Should the clubs remain tied then Bayonne would survive. Oyonnax will host the out of form Toulouse this coming weekend while Bayonne will face Grenoble away.
