Francisco Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro Red Carded against Leinster

Former Puma Francisco Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro may be set for a spell on the sidelines after the tigthead prop was red carded in the final minute of Friday night´s Rabo Direct Pro 12 match between Leinster and the Newport-Gwent Dragons.

Tetaz Chaparro was a replacement tighthead prop for the Dragons in the round fourteen Rabo Direct Pro 12 match. He had originally come on in the thirty-third minute and permanently in the fifty-eighth but was not able to remain on the field until the end due to a reckless tackle on Irish international Issaac Boss.

Tetaz Chaparro lifted and turned Boss in a dangerous manner. Due to the Argentine prop not having control of Boss in the attempted clearing-out of the player at a ruck the referee red carded him after confirming the seriousness of the tackle via a television replay. The former three time capped Puma is now likely to face a suspension. The Irish province won the fixture 31-19.
