A sold out PPL Park in Philadelphia witnessed a very strong performance by the USA Eagles in a non-international against the Maori All Blacks on Saturday evening. Playing for the USA was a combination of professional players absed off-shore and the best domestic based players. It was not a full strength team though as many players remained in Europe and will join the squad for the match against Georgia next Saturday. The New Zealand team was full professional and was expected to be too fast, to skillfill and too strong. The USA, though held a half time lead and really pushed for a win. In place of the missing Samu Manoa the USA may have found a genuine elite player in the form of Cam Dolan.
