The tenth round of the Top 14 started with an upset result as Argentine international Martín Bustos Moyano scored nineteen points for Bayonne in a home win against competition leaders Montpellier on Friday. Bustos Moyano scored a well taken try and kicked five goals.

Bustos Moyano was not offered a new contract by his former club Montpellier due to the club being very unhappy with losing players to international duty for the purposes of the Rugby Championship. Last season Montpellier suffered with six players involved in the Southern Hemisphere competition and consequently four players moved on to other clubs. Agustín Creevy left for the Worcester Warriors, Lucas González Amorosino for Oyonnax while Santiago Fernández joined Bustos Moyano in moving to Bayonne. Both Fernández and Bustos Moyano started aganist their former teammates last night.

Bustos Moyano did not play a match in the 2012 or 2013 Rugby Championships but was a squad member throughout the 2012 campaign. Santiago Phelan opted to use Horacio Agulla and Gonzalo Camacho throughout the 2012 tournament while both started in 2013 and did Juan Imhoff and González Amorosino. The new coach Daniel Hourcade will name his squad on Tuesday and the form of Bustos Moyano is arguably better than other Pumas wingers.

Argentina´s wingers all failed to score tries in the Rugby Championship and some are exhausted after a demanding campaign. Camacho is yet to return from the injury he picked up against New Zealand in Hamilton. He is likely to be replacement in the November squad with Bustos Moyano being a possible replacement together with Santiago Cordero, Matías Orlandi and Rafael Carballo.

Bayonne´s win sees the club get out of the relegation zone for the time being but with Oyonnax still to play it could find itself back in thirteenth position. Oyonnax is to face Grenoble in a derby fixture later on today. Tasking the field for Oyonnax will be three Pumas with Agustín Figuerola starting at scrum-half, Benjamín Urdapilleta at fly half and González Amorosino at fullback.
