USA Rugby head coach Mike Tolkin has confirmed a 26 man squad to play in next month´s Americas Rugby Championship in the Canadian province of British Columbia. The squad is a combination of established USA Eagles players and young players who have the potential to make the step up to senior level. The suqad itself is, by definition, the USA´s version of an A team.

The USA is onr of four competing nations from the Americas with the three others being Argentina, Canada and Uruguay. With none of the matches counting as test matches IRB Rankings are not going to be on the line. From a USA perspective it is ideal to prepare for the upcoming November internationals and to have a good look at Uruguay whom the USA Eagles will face in April. The match in Canada between the teams from Uruguay and the USA will be played on the third round of the Americas Rugby Championship on October 19.

Places will be on line for both the November 2013 and April 2014 international matches and special attention should be placed on goalkicking after the USA missed out on defeating Canada in Toronto last month.
