Photo ESPN Scrum: Joaquín Domínguez is on verge of signing for Edinburgh
Joaquín Domínguez is uncapped but the centre from Buenos Aires is now in Scotland on trial with the captial city´s professional team, Edinburgh. After having passed a medical exam the 26 year old began training with the Edinrbugh squad on Tuesday.

Domínguez is now officially on trial with the Scottish side and after a two week period he will be assessed by the club coaches and management. Should he be signed on then he would become the latest Argentine export to play in Scotland and would join the likes of Federico Martín Aramburu, Esteban Lozada and Bernardo Stortoni. Scotland´s other professional side, the Glasgow Warriors is home to Gabriel Ascárate who is also a centre. Ascárate played for Los Pumas in June 2012 and June 2013 but is yet to make the genuine test squad.

Although Domínguez is uncapped he is nonetheless a player known within Argentina and has played for his country at under 19 level. He plays for the famous SIC club, the same club that has produced names including current Puma Gonzalo Tiesi, Tomás Leonardí and Argentine greats Diego Albanese, Marcelo Loffreda, Gonzalo Longo, Rolando Martín and Diego Custa Silva. Juan Manuel Leguizamón also played for the club after moving to Buenos Aires in an attempt to make a name for himself.
