Los Pampas XV qualify for Vodacom Cup Quarter Finals

After six rounds of play Los Pampas XV has confirmed itself as one of the top four teams in the Southern section of the Vodacom Cup. With a number of round six matches yet to be played the Argentina currently sits second in the pool but could fall to third depending on the outcome of Western Province´s match against the SWD Eagles. With twenty-one competition points Los Pampas XV is second to the Sharks XV which currently leads by two points while Western Province has seventeen, one more than the fourth placed Eastern Province. 

Playes at 10am Argentina time on Saturday, Los Pampas XV came out roaring to play some champagne rugby which included four first half tries with Manuel Montero, Rodrigo Bruno, Tomás Cubelli and Facundo Barrea all scoring. It secured a bonus point for the South Americans before the interval and leading 28-10 the result was all but guaranteed. As in previous matches this season Los Pampas XV took the foot off the gas in the second half as the opposition team fought back strongly. In the secondhalf Los Pampas XV socred only one try, with Barrea scoring his second, while the Free State Cheetahs scored four.
