The UAR has just confirmed a 29 man squad for the Vodacom Cup. The squad is, again, a blend of very young players and some experienced players with test experience. The most noteworthy inclusion could well be the teenager, Santiago Cordero who stared in South Africa in last years IRB Junior World Cup. He is likely to make his Pumas debut in 2013. Other players of note included are World Cup 2011 secondrower Mariano Galarza and 2012 test scrumhalves Tomás Cubelli and Martín Landajo. People interested in the future of Argentine rugby should play close attention to winger Manuel Montero who could be the next big thing and looms as a starting winger or possibly outside centre at Rugby World Cup 2015. Prop Nahel Lobo has been excluded after he signed for Montpellier this past weekend and will play the remainder of the season for the Top 14 club as a medical joker in place of the injured Juan Figallo.
