Rabo Direct Pro 12 - Round 16 Wrap

Glasgow 20-14 Ulster
An upset at the top of the table sees Ulster´s lead decreased to three points. The Glasgow Warriors three tries to one triumph featured Canadian winger DTH van der Merwe in his usual left wing position. Joining him was the USA´s Tommy Seymour sho scored a try. Seymour is in the Scottish side but yet to make his debut. Another USA produced player, Callum Black feautred in the match. he started in the frontrow for Ulster.

Ospreys 24-7 Edinburgh
Edinburgh lost yet again and only had itself to blame after one player was red carded and another yellow carded. For the Ospreys the result is highly positive as the Welsh region is in line for a place in the Quarter Finals after it had been strugglging in the early rounds of the season.

Cardiff 22-26 Connacht
A rare win for Connacht over the Blues and an even rarer away victory shows just how badly impacted the Blues team was due to the Six Nations. The win sees Connacht move more than a victory clear of Edinburgh while Cardiff´s chances of making the Semi Finals look dead and burried.

Treviso 34-10 Munster
Italy´s miserable showing against Wales in the Six Nations can be slightly forgotten after Benetton Treviso produced an impressive win over powerhouses  Munster on Sunday. The result sees Munster dropping further behind the top four while Treviso are now just one point behind the Cardiff Blues. Argentina´s Alberto di Bernardo kicked four goals for Benetton Treviso who also had Franco Sbaraglini and Pedro di Santo on the bench.

Leinster 32-5 Scarlets
A hammering victory for Leinster underlines the teams depth as it was missing many players to international duty as Ireland lost against Scotland at Murrayfield on Sunday. Leisnter move into the top three after starting the season poorly while the Scarlets are no longer in the top four.

Zebre 13-14 Dragons
A rare win for the Newport-Gwent Dragons all but ensures that Zebre´s debut season will see it doing no better than the team it replaced, Aironi. Argentina´s Matias Aguero started in the frontrow for Zebre.
