USA Squad for Americas Rugby Championship

The USA´s squad for The 2012 America´s Rugby Championship features a number of potential future stars. The squad is made up of domestic based players and includes some who have impressed for the Sevens team. A notable inclusion in the forwards is Taylor Mokate who started the June internationals tests for the USA Eagles and was playing club rugby in Wellington, New Zealand earlier in the year. He could very well be a starting backrower for the USA at Rugby World Cup 2015. He is contracted as  a professional to the USA Sevens team. Another player to have done well at Sevens is Miles Craigwell who is one of eleven backs included in the squad. He is likely to get a lot of game time on the wing.

The America´s Rugby Championship does not feature test matches. The games are preeration for the teams of Canada, Uruguay, the USA and Argentina. It is designed to decrease the gap between domestic and international level.
