Ignacio Saenz Lancuba signs for Grenoble

The 2011-2012 Pro d2 champions, FC Grenoble won promotion to the Top 14 and have been preparing for the new season by signing a number of players to bolster the squad. The club announced the arrival of Argentine fullback, Joaquín Tuculet from the Sale Sharks at the start of June and has now confirmed a second Puma will be playing for the side in the new season. The young and very promising Ignacio Saenz Lancuba has been brought in. Aged only 20 and having played in the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship in Italy, he now has a chance of playing Top 14 rugby. 

Saenz Lancuba was a part of the PladAR system this year and a squad member for Los Pampas XV. He has played two test matches for Argentina, both in 2012 against Brazil and Uruguay. He previously played for the Argentine under 20 team on seven occassions and also previously played fror the Buenos Aires under 19 team.
