|Lozada back to France|
There has been speculation in recent months that former Los Pumas secondrower, Esteban Lozada will be returning to France to play Top 14 rugby after completing a two year stint with Scottish side, Edinburgh. Despite the news not being official the move looks to be done and dusted according to InfoTop14orange and twitter. The return of Lozada to France will see him link up with current mid-tabled side, Agen and play alongside fellow Argentine players. The club is the home of tighthead prop Martín Scelzo, centre Miguel Avramovic and winger Belisario Agulla.
Lozada previously played in France for Toulon on a three year deal from 2007-2010. He joined the then Pro d2 side after being a part of Argentina´s Bronze Medal team at Rugby World Cup 2007, coming on as a replacement vs Georgia and France in the Bronze Final. In total, Lozada has played eighteen times for his country but has been out of favor in recent years with his last test cap coming as an injury enforced replacement vs Italy in Verona in November 2010. Despite Rimas Alvarez Kairellis and Ignacio Fernández Lobbe both retiring, Lozada was not able to break into the regular team and has been overtaken by Manuel Carriza, Mariano Galarza and Tomás Vallejos Cinalli. His move to Agen should see him recieve more game time and play in a league more suited to his style of play.
