|Lozada while at Toulon|
Former Argentine international secondrower, Esteban Lozada has told Argentine sources that he desires a move back to France. He currently plays for Scottish side, Edinburgh whom he joined in 2010 after previously having played Toulon from 2007-2010. The Rugby World Cup 2007 Puma could well be back in France after having been linked to three different French clubs, all of which play in the Top 14 Orange. The three clubs interested in his services are Perpignan, Bordeaux-Begles and Agen. All three are in the bottom half of the 2011-2012 standings but all are highly likely to survive the season and remain in France´s top flight next season.
Lozada has been recieving plenty of game time with Edinburgh but, nonetheless, wishes to return to France, a country with far more Argentine players than Scotland. A return to France may well be on his mind but what he really desires is a return to international rugby after having been overlooked for Rugby World Cup 2011 and not playing for Argentina since 2010. His last appearance came off the bench vs Italy in Verona that November as he replaced Manuel Carizza who elft due to a broken arm. Patricio Albacete also missed the match with injury. The 30 year old Lozada has played seventeen tests for Argentina sicne debuting as a replacement vs England in 2006.
