USA Eagles Sevens team for Wellington and Las Vegas

Roland Suniula
The USA Eagles Sevens team has a new ring to it following the groundbreaking confirmation of a group of players who are now full time professionals. The added time training together and doing so in superior facilities is certain to result in an improved USA Sevens team. The first test of this will not be easy, however, as the USA Eagles are to play in Pool B of the Wellington Sevens against powerhouses England and South Africa as well as regional qualifier, the Cook Islands. The Eagles squad features a number of important players. Roland Suniula has returned to the Sevens squad for the first time sicne the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. Suniula was the USA´s starting flyhalf at Rugby World Cup 2011. His return is certain to provide the USA with increased options in attack.
