Fernández and Gonzalez Amorosino shine for Montpellier

Santiago Fernández
Montpellier is a team which has led the way in terms of recruitment. The teams drive to sign up largely un known players or underused players and turn them into superstars is continuing this year in as much as it did last year and has occured in general since the team arrived in the Top 14. The team has gone from having one Puma (Federico Todeschini) three years ago to now having six and all of them are expected to feature in this years first ever addition of The Rugby Championship. Three of the six arrived only this season and all of them are recieving plenty of game time with Agustín Creevy having established himself as the teams first choice hooker, Maximiliano Bustos being used both in the starting XV and off the bench and Lucas González Amorosino has impressed at both fullback and wing.

González Amorosino and two Argentine recruits from last season, Santiago Fernández and  Martín Bustos Moyano got their names on the score sheet as he ran in a try from insie his own 22 after showing pace and analyzing the play perfectly the receive an offload right when his teammate was being tackled. Several minutes later Fernández joined him as he finished off a raid from outside of the 22 and received a neat over-the-shoulder basketball style pass from González Amorosino. While Bustos Moyano continued to kick goals with a high rate of accuracy and demonstrated his versatility as both a winger and a fullback.
