Manuel Carizza returns for Biarritz
Argentine international secondrower, Manuel Carizza has been named to start for Biarritz in the French teams home match vs Italy´s Benetton Treviso on Friday. Carizza has not played for Biarritz since the first week of November. He was been on the sidelines since fracturing his hand in a training session on November the 10th. His return comes at a good time for his club who are struggling in the Top 14 Orange and are facing elimination from the Heineken Cup. Biarritz were upset 30-26 last weekend by Benetton Treviso in Italy and the coach has named a strong side for the return match in Biarritz tommorrow. Biarritz sit in third place in the group above Benetton Treviso but behind leaders the Ospreys and tied with English side, Saracens. Should Biarritz win with a bonus point they could go top of the table but if they lose they are certain to have no chance of making the Heineken Cup Quarter Finals.

The 27 year old Pumas lineout specialist will form part of a strong pack which will be led by French international backrower, Imanol Harinordoquey. Carizza will also be joined by two Argentine players in the starting lineup with Francisco Gómez Kodela named at tighthead prop and Marcelo Bosch to play at centre. Bosch will form a 12-13 comination with Damien Traille while USA international winger, Taku Ngwenya will play in the 14 shirt.
