Horacio Agulla wins player of the month for Leicester

Horacio Agulla´s impersonation of Chris Ashton was the icing on the cake for the Pumas winger as earlier this afternoon he was awarded the presigious Player of the Month award from the Leicester Tigers. Agulla has been in hot form, possibly the form of his career, since returning to club duty following Rugby World Cup 2011 in which he started every match for Los Pumas. Agulla was a regular starter for Leicester at the end of last season but he had to work hard to get there after spending most of the season on the bench. He started in Leicester´s play-offs matches in the Heineken Cup and and the Aviva Premiership and has made the Tigers 14 position his own this season.

Agulla has score three tries for Leicester this season so far with two of them being in the Aviva Premiership (English League) and one in the LV= Cup (Anglo-Welsh Cup). He has been crucial to the Tigers success, with his late try vs the Northampton Saints thius past weekend being a vivid example. Since returning, Agulla has started four Aviva Premiership matches, one LV=Cup match and one Heineken Cup match to play a total of 477 minutes for Leicester. With the form of other Argentine backs including Felipe Contepomi and Lucas González Amorosino Argentina are looking in positive shape for the future.
