USA hooker, Chris Biller signs for Bath

The reasons for Argentina to host Rugby World Cup 2023 seemingly continue to mount

every day. The number of players that the country and the region of the Americas have exported to the big European competitions continues to grow. The lattest player to cross the Atlantic Ocean is USA World Cup hooker, Chris Biller who has been signed by English Premiership side, Bath. The Western English club has signed the USA Eagle on a short-term contract to fill a void that has come about following the loss of former English international hooker, Lee Mears and South Africa´s Pieter Dixon. Mears is out injured for three months while Dixon is also unavaliable as is Ross Batty who was injured for the club on Sunday in the sides narrow 16-13 victory over French Top 14 side Montpellier in the Heineken Cup. 

The 26 year old Californian played in three of the USA Eagles´ four matches at Rugby World Cup 2011, startign against Russia and Italy. He has played a total of sixteen test matches for the USA since making his debut in 2009 vs Ireland in Santa Clara.
