Juan José Acosta signs for Mont de Marsan

Another Argentine prop is heading to France following the confirmation that uncapped Argentine tighthead prop, Juan José Acosta has signed to play for former Top 14 side Mont de Marsan in the Pro d2. The 130KG frontrower joins from Buenos Aires side Alumni with whom he had an emotional fair well last weekend. Acosta´s arrival in France will mean a new lifestyle and language but he will be playing alongside Los Pampas XV prop, Mauricio Guidone and also Argentine backrower Leandro Cedaro. Like Acosta, the pair are uncapped. The club does have a number of international players including former Fijian Sevens star, William Ryder, Tonga´s Ephrain Taukafa and Canadian international secondrower Josh Jackson who was surprizingly not selected for Rugby World Cup 2011. Acosta´s move to France is his first professional contract.
