Italy vs Australia - Argentina and Canada lending a hand

Italian Headcoach, Nick Mallett has named his side for Italy´s first match of Rugby World Cup 2011. His team includes players from the Americas with Canadian born Robert Barbieri starting in the backrow and teaming up with four players from Argentina. The scrum will be powered by Martín Castrogiovanni who should be looking forward to taking it to the Australians given the teams reputation as being substandard at scrumaging. Córdoba´s Luciano Orquera will pull the strings for Italy at flyhalf and will form an All-Argentine 10-12-13 combination with Gonzalo Garcia starting at inside centre and Gonzalo Canale at outside centre. The match is to be played on Sunday, as the first of three matches that day. It will be played at North Harbour Stadium in the northern suburbs of Auckland. Pool C rivals the United States of America and Ireland will also play on Sunday.
