Argentina name team for Romania

Argentina are to field a changed side for the clash with Romania on Saturday in the Southern New Zealand cit of Invercargill. As suggested earlier today on Rugby World Cup-Argentina 2023, the side features tyhe same forward pack but has changes at flyhalf an in the centres. Two of the three changes is positional with Santiago Fernández moving from inside centre to flyhalf in place of the injured Felipe Contepomi. Oustide centre, Gonzalo Tiesi will not play again in the tournament and has been replaced by Marcelo Bosch who was praised for his performace from the bench vs England. The third change sees Martín Rodríguiez Gurruchaga move from fullback to inside centre, the position in which he made his international debut in 2009. The fullback spot will be taken by Lucas González Amorosino who has previously been used as a winger at international level. The team is to be led by backrower Juan Fernández Lobbe.

The last time Argentina played Romania was in Rugby World Cup 2003. Of the fifteen players that won 50-3 that day four are in the Argentine match day 22 for this Saturday´s encounter.
