The IRB´s weekly rugby program, Total Rugby, recently featured a piece on the United States of America which focued on the team going into New Zealand 2011. In brief interviews with captain Todd Clever, headcoach Eddie O´Sullivan and star winger Taku Ngwenya the short video takes a look at how the USA qualified for Rugby World Cup 2011 and how the team stands at this point with the tournament fastly approaching. Clever highlights the first two matches as being the biggest with the USA´s first encounter being against world powers, Ireland on a date of high significance - September 11th. Four days latter the USA will face Russia in a match that is 66 years in the making since the beginning of the Cold War in 1945. These two matches will define the USA´s campaign and the side is eager to perform well to send home a powerful message to helpn the sport grow in the United States.
