With Rugby World Cup 2011 fast approaching the IRB´s weekly program, Total Rugby, has almost completed its Rugby World Cup Dream team. Only two positions remain and this week features the frontrow position of hooker. Amongst the nominations are New Zealand´s Sean Fitzpatrick, Australia´s Phil Kearns, Argentina´s Mario Ledesma, Ireland´s Keith Wood and South Africa´s John Smit. 1. how is Omar Hasan the best tighthead?

he was an very good prop but he wasn't Argentina first choice

Reggiardo was the tighthead in 1999 and 2003 and Scelzo in 2007, so how is Hasan the the best?

  2. Its all based on votes and anybody can vote. There are five per position and Hasan was nominated over Scelzo and Reggiardo, probably, based on his scrumaging skills ans long term place in the squad.

Some of the players voted in are highly questionable. Brian O´Driscoll not being there is bizzare. It seems many are voting for players from their team as Will Greenwood was never the best 13 in a World Cup.
