Francisco Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro signs for Stade Français

Stade Français´ recruitment for the 2011-2012 season includes a number of big name players including, amonst others, Argentina captain Felipe Contepomi, Samoan fullback Paul Williams, English winger Paul Sackey, USA secondrower Scott LaValla, New Zealand scrumhalf Byron Kelleher and three props. Cook Islands prop Stan Wright will join from Irish side Leinster, former French international Olivier Milloud joins from Bourgoin and uncapped Argentine prop, Francisco Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro is to join from La Plata. Tetaz Chaparro will be joining Argentine international loosehead prop, Rodrigo Roncero at the Paris club as a replacement for fellow Argentine, Pedro Ledesma who has announced his retirement. Tetaz Chaparro will also be joining Pumas backs Martín Rodríguez Gurruchaga, Gonzalo Tiesi and fellow new signing Felipe Contepomi.

Born November 06 1989, Francisco Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro will be joining Stade Français on his first professional contract. He was a member of the Los Pampas Vodacom Cup championship winning side and is a graduate of the Argentine domestic system, having played in the 2009 IRB Junior World Championship in Japan. Tetaz Chaparro played in Los Pumitas´ matches vs Ireland, Uruguay, New Zealand and Fiji for two wins and two losses. He has also previously played international rugby for Los Jaguares (Argentina A). His move to the Top 14 will no doubt go a long way to see him realize the dream of playing for Los Pumas.
