Canadian Lock signs for French club
The younger brother of Canada´s most famous player in Europe, Jamie Cudmore, Luke, is now playing in France too. Jamie Cudmore is playing his sixth season in France for current champions Clermont Auvergne while younger brother, Luke Cudmore has joined up with Fedéral 1 side Valence d'Agen in what is France´s third division. Luke Cudmore joins Valence d'Agen from the runners up of the Canadian Rugby Championship - the Prairie Wolfpack whom he played for this season after previously playing for the BC Bears and at a younger age for London Irish in England.
The move to France will help him greatly in his quest to be selected for Rugby World Cup 2011 and he should attract interests from clubs playing in higher divisions.
