Adam Kleeberger - Canadian Professional in New Zealand

Canadian backrower, Adam Kleeberger is presently playing professionally for the most successful team in the history of New Zealand rugby, Auckland. He made his debut for Auckland vs Taranaki at the beginning of the month after missing earlier matches due to injury. Kleeberger impressed vs Taranaki so much that he was selected at 6 for the following match vs Wellington in which Auckland won 21-15 last weekend. The teams next match is vs Manawatu who sit in last position on the ladder. Kleeberger will be rested for that match.

He has played 23 tests for Canada and was a member of the Canadian team at Rugby World Cup 2007. Without question, he is a leading player who will only improve from his time playing in New Zealand. He could well be Canada´s answer to the USA´s Todd Clever.
