French Top 14 club, Montpellier have announced the signing of Argentine wing / fullback, Martin Bustos Moyano from Córdoba Athletic. It is the first professional contract for the 25 year old. With the signing of Moyana, Montpellier will have three Argentine players this season. He will join Pumas prop Juan Figallo and flyhalf / centre Santiago Fernández. Both Fernández and Moyanao will bolster Montpellier´s goal kicking options this season with French international flyhalf, François Trinh-Duc not being considered a good enough goal kicker.
Moyana has not played international rugby for Argentina. He has represented Argentina at Sevens and has played for Los Jaguars and Argentina A. His most recent representative appearance was for Argentina A vs France in La Plata in June 2010 where he scored a try and kicked two conversions. He was playing wing. Moyana was included in the initial Pumas squad for the June internationals but was left out for the tests vs Scotland and France. With the opportunity of playing for Montpellier he will have a much greater chance of breaking into Los Pumas in time for Rugby World Cup 2011.
