Pumitas Flyhalf nominated for Player of the IRB Junior World Championship

Argentine flyhalf, Ignacio Rodríguez Muedra, was one of four finalists for the IRB Junior World Championship player of the tournament. The other three finalists were New Zealand wing, Julian Savea who scored a hat-trick (three tries) in the final in which New Zealand defeated Australia. Two Australians were also nominated for the award - flyhalf Tyler Bleyendaal and centre Robbie Coleman.

Julian Savea won the award following the championship victory for the men in black and amazingly it was the third time in a row that New Zealand have won the Junior World Championship.

Interestingly, all four nominess for player of the year went to backs.
